How do I transfer my output folder from my virtual machine to my physical drive?

It depends which VM program you're using. For VMWare Workstation, you install VMWare tools on both host and guest OS. Then you can typically drag and drop. VirtualBox has a similar feature.

Alternatively, I've done the following

• Used Syncthing and shared a folder between guest and host
• Used Google Drive or Proton Drive to upload files
• Used external USB
