Hi, If I have understood your problem correctly, here's a soft fix:

  1. Delete line 6 in requirements.txt where it installs gnureadline.
  2. In main.py change line 13 from "import gnureadline" to "import readline as gnureadline".
  3. run "pip3 install -r requirements.txt"

Please let me know if this solved your problem.

I am still getting this error

ERROR: Command errored out with exit status 1: /home/anar/Desktop/tools/osintgram/venv/bin/python3 -u -c 'import sys, setuptools, tokenize; sys.argv[0] = '"'"'/tmp/pip-install-rothhhs4/gnureadline_cc6312b2ec2d4faca88160a803ea3cb2/setup.py'"'"'; file='"'"'/tmp/pip-install-rothhhs4/gnureadline_cc6312b2ec2d4faca88160a803ea3cb2/setup.py'"'"';f=getattr(tokenize, '"'"'open'"'"', open)(file);code=f.read().replace('"'"'\r\n'"'"', '"'"'\n'"'"');f.close();exec(compile(code, file, '"'"'exec'"'"'))' install --record /tmp/pip-record-vao9enum/install-record.txt --single-version-externally-managed --compile --install-headers /home/anar/Desktop/tools/osintgram/venv/include/site/python3.9/gnureadline Check the logs for full command output. I'm not quite sure what may cause your problem but generally as far as I have tested, this tool can work fine with readline and doesn't necessarily need gnureadline. That's why I changed line 13 from "import gnureadline" to "import readline as gnureadline". (The reason for importing as gnureadling was that it's hard to change every instance of gnureadline to readline in code so we assume that everytime gnureadline is used we actually meant readline ;) ) So install the modules in requrements.txt manually except for gnureadline and then run main.py; if still getting an error create another virtual environment and then install requirments manually to see if that solves your problem. If still didn't work, update your python3 and pip3. I hope these would solve your problem

Please let me know if this solved your problem.

sudo apt-get install libncurses5-dev libffi-dev pip3 install gnureadline

I deleted the folder and git clone it again than ran these commands, then setup login credentials and now it works

Found the solution for fedora 35

  1. update your pip, setuptool and wheel
  2. update/install ncurses-libs (sudo dnf install ncurses-libs)
  3. sudo dnf install python3-devel
  4. pip install gnureadline==6.3.3
  5. pip install -r requirements.txt

the ncurses-libs and gnureadlines may have different name for different package managers, hence i suggest you google "package_name for preferred_OS" and then install the packages.
