"bottom right" USB-C port doesn't work in USB3 mode
Component
Dasharo firmware
Device
NovaCustom V56 14th Gen
Dasharo version
0.9.0-rc7
Dasharo Tools Suite version

Test case ID

Brief summary
Device plugged into bottom right USB-C port (the non-TB one) either doesn't work at all, or works only in USB2 (HighSpeed) mode
How reproducible
Always. Tried on Qubes OS 4.2, and Fedora 40 Xfce Live USB
How to reproduce
Plug an USB3 device into the USB-C port
Expected behavior
Device works in SuperSpeed mode.
Actual behavior
None of the tested devices worked in USB 3.0 (SuperSpeed) mode. Some worked in USB 2.0 (HighSpeed) mode. In one case, only in one orientation of the plug.
Tested with:
- SanDisk USB 3.0 stick (this one has both USB-C and USB-A plugs)
- RockeTek SD card reader
- i-Tec gigabit ethernet adapter
- a converter cable USB-C -> USB-A
The other USB-C port and both USB-A ports work normally, with all the devices listed above too.

Additional context
I tried this on two different units (V540TU and V560TU) and both have this issue. But on V540TNE (the one with nvidia) running still proprietary firmware, both USB-C ports work fine.
Solutions you've tried

Most likely some missing params for USB-C configuration in FSP.
Has this been fixed in the recently released Heads variant?
I was able to reproduce this issue on V56TU @ Dasharo uefi 0.9.0. The bottom usb-c port works for me, but all devices connected to it have USB 2.0 speed. Tested with San disk 3.1 flash drive, Adata USB 3.0 flash drive and Belkin 11in1 USB-c dock.
The issue is still present on V560TU with Dasharo+Heads 0.9.0.
in general ive noticed that no matter if you use usb "c" or "a" port and Usb 3.0 or 2.0 to transfer data from flash drive there is this drop from 120MB/s to just 20MB/s over the duration of copying a large file
Tested with v560tu uefi 1.0.0-rc5 on ubuntu (maybe this has something to do with the gnome data transfer method)
@mkopec Would you mind sharing the commit with me that solves this issue? IIRC, this has been solved for the upcoming firmware releases.
Is there an update to this yet? do we know which firmware update the fix will be available? It seems the speed drop happens on both of the right 2 usb-c ports. The bottom one won't detect certain high speed drives at all, the top one does, and appears to work, but during long copy operations and qubes backups, the speed significantly drops.

What is your Dasharo version, please?
Currently it is on: 3mdeb Dasher (coreboot+heads) v0.9.0

- The Heads firmware version with a fix for this issue should be published within a few months from now.
@mkopec Could you please check the USB speeds with lsusb and verify that the USB speed of all ports are as expected in the latest test binaries?
On the latest Dasharo branch, my phone is detected as a USB SuperSpeed device on both USB-C ports. It looks like the issue is resolved.

OK, would you be so kind to check USB-A port speeds, too? I remember quite some complains from customers about the USB-A port(s), too, but I cannot remember the details.
If all ports are at the correct speed, I guess the issue can be closed.
