Procuring a few PCIe cards for the lab to help debug issues on the MSI boards (Or other platforms with expansion)

There is a lingering bug or bugs since about two years and half ago where multiple people reported than certain PCIe cards either don't POST, the Option ROM doesn't load or hangs POST, doesn't work on OS, or fails when trying to do PCI Passthrough in QEMU with some Interrupt related error (Which is the worst one cause you need very specific instructions on how to reproduce). All reports had in common than this seems to only happen when the cards are in the Chipset PCIe Slots, but works fine in the Processor 16x PCIe Slot, and that this is specifically a Dasharo related issue because they work fine with MSI BIOS, so means that it should be about time than this bug gets some attention.

These are the related tickets I remember, but most recent cases are from chat:

I believe that with a budget of about 150 Euros you can purchase multiple cards (Old used SAS HBAs and USB PCIe cards are quite cheap) and attempt to reproduce and fix this on lab. The most recent user with issues was using a LSI 9300-8i SAS HBA that he got for 15 U$D, and albeit I don't know on cost shipping and customs to Poland, it makes sense to have at hand a good selection of cards on the lab with known Dasharo-only issues to fix those, and even better if you can get exact card than users have so that you can get a second opinion regarding if the fixes works. For USB cards I suggest something with NEC/Renesas UPD720202 or a Fresco Logic, avoid the VIA VL805 because that one seems already buggy and highly problematic in Linux. I can help you shop for cards if there is interest in procuring them.

The PCI Passthrough issue also affects Video Cards but that would be too expensive to suggest to stock on lab. I still have the two Radeon 5600XT installed and could attempt to reproduce that on QEMU myself, albeit likelihood is that if you fix it with the USB cards you fix it for mine too, so you may not need me providing logs and just testing if whatever you fixed works on mine.
