Does DASH-IF need/allow HLS format?

We now have HLS support capability, would DASH-IF be interested in exposing this capability?

CMAF works with both DASH and HLS, and WAVE has standardized on CMAF as the interoperable format for HLS and DASH, it would be preferable that conformance verification would work with either HLS or DASH manifests.

DASH-IF validator throws an error for HLS input. To be checked to what extend we support HLS and if this should work on http://conformance.dashif.org/
