Climate setting does not work

I updated and the climate option is still stuck on desert and does not let me click or change it

Position of the Calendar and by extension the Weather panes seem to influence it. I discovered on my system that specifically when they are in the same horizontal plane as the Navigation Bar, the temperature toggle and climate drop down become inoperable.
