How To Setup For Server?

I set up a private server on my pc, and I cannot connect to it with the aatool. Is there any solution to it? Me and my friend trying to play together on this server, but she can't use aatool on the server. We tried the same ip as the server use, but it's not working

I can track my progress by setting up as local where the server runs but my friend cannot do that

What if the server runs off your PC with spigot? How do you get it to connect?
