[ENHANCE] Actual Chameleon Circuit
An idea to add a working chameleon circuit: Have it actually blend in with surrounding blocks.
First, it could search left and right of the door for a type of full block, then take on the texture of it. If none exist, behind the door, if none exist, the floor (or underneath the landing pad, if available). It could even become a tree if you land on grass and there's enough space. How you could tell it's the TARDIS, is there would be a slight alcove where the door is. If your holding your key, or screwdriver that's linked to the TARDIS, the texture can shift so that it's easier to see.
This way, players on multiplayer could hide their TARDIS within the walls or similar places.
This would not replace the existing circuit, but more of be an additional mode it can be on.
I can't actually seem to find the issue anymore, but Dark has said no to an actual chameleon circuit before iirc. I mean, since it's open source people could always try and add it themselves. Doesn't mean it'll get added to the main branch, but it would have a bigger chance than it has now :P
Hmm, looking at the way the Cham circuit works, I have a sort of half way compromise. If we add in a config option of model IDs and display names then it should be possible to use other mods models as a TARDIS shell. So server admins could for example add in Decocraft grandfather clocks and coffins to the Cham circuit. It's not dynamic but it does make it easy to add more options.
