TARDIS Experience (XP)

About half the time, when I close the game the tardis' xp gauge will reset. I can't seem to find the pattern on why it does save sometimes and not others.

odd... never noticed this and i play MC quite a bit. what versions are you using? try updating to the latest darkcore and TM builds from jenkins and see if that helps

Is this sp or mp? we've had a complaint about mp before where the name tags for waypoints didnt get saved.

and did you quit and save, or just press the x in the top right. I mean that shouldn't be a problem, but neither should the gauge resetting be :P

I have this issue on my multiplayer server. After server restart, my TARDIS always reverts to Level 4, with 143 XP towards the next level.

The version number as seen in the Mod Options screen is 1.7.10-0.995. I'm using the mod as it comes in the Nuts and Bolts v3.5 pack.

Screenshots

Before restart, it's at level 5.

After restart, six minutes later, it's back down to level 4.

The interior of the TARDIS is fine, all rooms and blocks are as I left them.

However, if I log out while inside the TARDIS and this happens, when I come back after restart I get the "the door will not open for some reason" message when attempting to exit the TARDIS, even though the TARDIS exterior is visible to other players in the Overworld; it hasn't been overwritten or obstructed.

Taking off and landing the TARDIS allows me to get out again, in that case.

I haven't been able to find anything in the server logs that seems related to this.

Love the mod. Really looking forward to not being stuck on level 4 forever!

I've found the tardisIDS_4.dat file where this is stored, but I feel I'm not actually any closer to understanding why it doesn't get updated. The file exists. It doesn't have any weird read-only file mode. It has a recent timestamp. But what it has saved is the level 4 + 143 XP data.

TModPReg_0.dat looks like it points to my user / dimension appropriately.
