Did this behavior use to work in the previous version?
I did not play any versions prior to 4.2.2
Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)
- Enter the lost city dimension
- Explore for a little bit
- Server crashes because of a chunk loading error

I too am having this issue recently. Though I was able to use the lost cities dimension for quite a while before this bug happened. Now I'm just trying to figure out which folder in the world save represents the Lost dimension so I can remove it and rebuild.
Folder is named "LOST". Tried deleting it but the world seed keeps giving me the corrupted one for me.
ah! I deleted LOST and it regenerated with no issues.

Newest patch did not help. Ran into the same exact chunk still crashes the server
you could try Deleting the LOST folder and changing the seed. Depending on what overworld you are starting with, the seed may not matter. Also is it in every instance of Sky Factory 4 for you, or just one? Maybe a fresh install would fix the issue, you could just delete the LOST folder and move all the world folder over to a new install.
