reduce the spawnrate of magma monsters

Context

i believe the spawnrate for the magma monsters is too high i was going to get lava in full black quartz gear with a sentient sword and two full lesser tartaric gems but when i got on the island even though it only took 3-4 by the time i killed one 3 would have spawned it got so bad that the game started stuttering and eventually my armor broke and i was forced to turn to peaceful to despawn them as they covered the half of the island that the lava was on
