Encoding config for the portuguese alphabet

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what is the configuration to correctly print the portuguese accents in my printer which is a generic chinese model (Lintian LT-8359).

I dont think that the list provided in the docs says anything about the specific printer model that i'm using.

Maybe someone here knows a configuration that i coult try to get it working because i'm a little lost.
