Right-to-Left Text Direction for Arabic

Open creature93x opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

Currently, Arabic text direction in the application is from left to right (LTR), which is not suitable for Arabic script. Arabic should be displayed from right to left (RTL) to ensure proper readability and user experience for Arabic-speaking users.

Hi! Is it not enough to set Alignment=Right like I did it on screenshot? Or do you mean there is need to fully reverse translated text? ab

Hi, no it is not enough to set alignment to right. the issue happens when there is some English words that have no direct Arabic translation so the translation ends up messy as an example:

is translated as:

instead of:

image

the issue should be fixed by changing the translation text direction to right-to-left before displaying the result on the overlay.

Got it, thanks for the clarification. It looks like specificity of google translate response, I need some time to investigate it and will try to fix it by the next update.
