Updating the DeepL api for languages like Thai or Vietnamese ?

Yes, it's true that DeepL added new languages in the list of supported DeepL languages. Unfortunately, I found that languages marked as "translation via next-gen models only" cannot be easily used with the current DeepL translation engine implementation. This issue will need further investigation by reverse engineers.
