Getting the new value of date/time on change

Hi Daniel, Im trying to pass the value of the time I set to a particular variable in my code, when I bind it with [(ngModel)] = "newDate", it still gives me the value of the initial date onLoad, please can you tell me how to resolve this? Thank you.
