Open VPN not starting up

I'm having to log into my instance and enter my password to get the open vpn server going. Until I do this tunnelblick won't connect. Once I enter the password things seem to go ok. Any idea what I might have botched? It looks like in the original article a bunch of cert files are combined into a .tblk file.

Anyway, I can't figure out how to bypass this logon step on my server and have it just fire up the open vpn server.

Sounds like OpenVPN is configured to start at login, rather than as a headless daemon. Maybe an issue with that config?
