Great effort and I'm so glad this project is being revived, thanks a lot @yarikoptic !

If you have any questions about what I did, feel free to tag me and ask! It's mostly just cherry picking from the other forks and adding some of my own handling for rclone 1.57.0 which is the version I'm now using.

Re 852e4c3, I've added .editorconfig on my fork which might prevent some of the formatting issues in the future (see https://editorconfig.org/)
