I'm gonna take a look, at least for my tests the `nInitialDriveGears` are only updated when spawning the car, so I guess the other one is related.
Is this easy to solve by increasing a pool size in the gameconfig.xml or is a hardcoded size? Edit: sorry I didnt properly read the issue.

If you find the cloth that is causing the crash would be useful to share it so we can patch the issue.
