Unable to install resigned apps through Xcode

Ever since macOS Sonoma and iOS 17, iOS App Signer has no longer worked as a resource to resign ipa files from github with my developer account. Attempting to sideload the signed ipa results in an error in Devices and Simulators in Xcode.

strange, beta release notes don't say anything about changes to the code signing

It's not App Signer's problem, but Xcode 15. Installation via Apple Configurator still works.
