Gas and brakes PWM

Didn't try the code (don't even have a car) but loved the idea. I was wondering: if you could simulate left and right turn from analog input to digital output - basically working as a PWM, pressing and unpressing the button - you could do the same to the analog input of gas and brake pedals, right?

Surely possible, but would involve a lot of rewriting I would think.. currently it looks to be set up to only execute a keypress when an input changes, so if you held the steering wheel at 30 degrees to the left, theres only one input sent to the pi, no way to tell it to rapidly turn on and off
