Autoformat pans the buffer to the right sometimes

Expected Behaviour

Autoformat should not pan the screen/buffer

Actual Behaviour

Autoformat sometimes pans the screen/buffer to the right

Steps to Reproduce

1. Type some long lines although sometimes it happens on short lines too
2. Autoformat
3. Watch the buffer pan to the right
