Is the project dead, seems like it has been out of sync with the client for some time and does not work against the cloud at all? last checkin seems to have been years ago.

Yes. Most cmdlets still work great with on-prem Octopus, though.

Shame, not that the direct client import is that bad but still would have been a nice integration point with azure automation/aws etc.
