Nicer instance switching UI

Improvements to the instance switching UI is needed to help discoverability.

For instance, animated arrow on the icon, and hiding/showing arrows based on first/last.

You should also be able to hide the handle if you're only using one instance.

Can't really do that, as that is how you access the local and federated timelines.

You could switch it for a regular button though

I really love the instance switcher! Something new and I don't have to navigate through some menus. But The placing is not perfect. Sometimes I close the App due to the position of the switcher.

I'd like to second @KurzGedanke's comment. I find myself swiping to another application, or swiping up and closing the app, pretty often just because the pinwheel UI is right near the iPhone X's swipe bar.
