Forest Door Feature Request
Hi, is there a way that we can get the Door ID and Color numbers into two separate fields for the forest doors?
I know this wasn't a feature back in QEdit as the two were also combined in that program as well, I image because they had yet to figure out then that the Door ID's for forest doors were a combination of two hex bytes:
The first byte, in this example, relating to the color/symbol combination "02" while the second byte "06" sets the door as Door ID 6. I have tested this with the switch linked doors in other maps made by Sega and it comes out the same for those doors as well, the first byte being the color/symbol number and the second bit being the hex for Door ID's 60 or 61, which are the switch ID's that Sega likes to use in the forest.
Please let me know if this feature would be possible to implement for the forest doors or not.
