How to detect if signature entered was enough to be legitimate

I am cresting an app in which the user needs to sign on terms and conditions but I need to make sure they just don't add a '.' and then click confirm. Need to be able to identify a certain pixel or width length of the signature to make sure it's a legitimate signature. Is that possible?
