Remember last session request and add a shortcut to recreate

Users wish to save their last session tool + version selection. To do this, a "Remember this selection" checkbox should be introduced. When requesting a persistent session the next time, the last selection could be prefilled with the last selected tool. Alternatively, a shortcut button would be good.

We don't need to save the preferences server-side, saving in local storage will be sufficient.
