[Feature Request]: Add functionality to the hackathon button in the header

Feature Description

Enhance the existing CSS of the hackathon display details on the home page by making it responsive and add functionality to the hackathon button in the header. Pls assign me this issue under GSSOC'24

Use Case

This feature will facilitate easy navigation for the users. It will also make the hackathon details section adaptive to different screen sizes

Benefits

• The hackathon button in the header will be fully functional
• The hackathon details section will be responsive to adapt different screen sizes
• Enriched UI experience for users.
