RED SCREEN POKéMON PEARL

Hi, I'm playing Pokémon Pearl Vanilla, and when I get to the ferry to the Fight Area, what you see in the photo happens on the DSi with a red screen, while on the PC emulator the game freezes and the interaction with the rival doesn't start. I tried reinstalling the ROM. I hope it's not a problem with the save file, because I don't want to have to start the game over again, I did some save editing. Could that be the problem? How can I fix it? Please, someone help me. Thank you!

Your save file might be the issue. Did you make a save file backup before you used the editor?
