Your console: DSi Launch Method: Launched through Twilight Menu 22.2.0. My DSi is on the latest firmware (North American) and is set to automatically launch Twilight Menu on boot. I have Unlaunch 2.0 installed. HiyaCFW is not installed. Version used: 0.49.1 Game tested/used/applicable: SnesDS 12-13-2005 (available here: https://www.gamebrew.org/images/3/3c/SnesDS.zip)

Expected Behavior: Proper saving. Actual Behavior: No save file is created.

Steps to reproduce

Download SnesDS. Download ndstool here: http://darkfader.net/ds/files/ndstool.exe Download the latest SuperDAT here: http://archives.dcemulation.org/gba/www.snesadvance.org/www.snesadvance.org/files/superdat20060124-mog123.zip Extract the SnesDS zip. Put the ndstool executable and the SuperDAT inside the SnesDS folder. Launch make_nds.bat. Drop a ROM (I recommend testing with SMW) on the SnesDS window. Press the Save... button and save your ROM somewhere. Transfer the generated .nds ROM file to your SD card. Ignore or delete the .ds.gba file. Launch the ROM on your DS. If you picked SMW, play through the first stage and the Switch Palace to get a save prompt. Save your game. Touch the touch screen and select Reset. The save file will be gone.

Other notes

There is a newer version of SnesDS (available here: https://www.zophar.net/download_file/12337) that instead of a ROM builder uses DLDI. Since it doesn't support the SuperDAT, it will have inferior compatibility and speed. I tried it with nds-bootstrap, but it didn't seem to work at all. Might work with a RAM disk, though.

The updated SuperDAT probably isn't necessary, but I used it when testing and it provides superior compatibility and speed, so it's recommended.

SnesDS's audio emulation is pretty crackly at TWL (133MHz) clock speed, so select NTR (67MHz).

Does snesDS even support saving without a GBA flashcart?
