Various patched (undub/english patch) games is freezing at FMV

Your console: DSL/3DS/N3DS Launch Method: nds-bootstrap either 3DS mode or flashcart Version used: 0.42.1 Game tested/used/applicable: basically any patched games with FMV will freeze, examples are Tales of Innocence english patch, summon nigth x with english menu patch, summon night twin age with undub patch. etc.....

Expected Behavior: it should not hang on FMV and play the game as expected Actual Behavior: froze on FMV either before it plays the FMV or after it finishes playing the FMV

Steps to reproduce

just run any game I mention above using nds-bootstrap normally.

Are you sure the freezing isn't related to AP? If the games have AP, try manually AP-patching the ROMs first, before applying the undub or English patch.

The only ap patch game on the game i tried is summon night x, other games are old enough to run without ap patch.

And according to the patch note summon night x. the rom patch also removes the ap checks.

Try adjusting some settings in the per-game settings menu then (accessed by pressing Y button in the ROM menu).

Unfortunately every setting didnt work, dsl have fewer option which select language (tried either english and japanese, default or system) and bootstrap which is nightly and release. None of the works other than disabling nds-bootstrap and use flashcart firmware (ysmenu) is the only fix.

For nds-bootstrap, you might need a Memory Expansion Pak then.
