Is it possible to replace blinding white loading screens with black?
In 2020 my eyes got much weaker and I became very light sensitive due to my eye condition. I look away from my NDSi XL each time the console opens up or launches a game due to the 100% white flashy screen. While it's still blinding me to some extend, it's rather manageable and I'm 100% okay with it if nothing could be done about it but I still wanted to ask....
a) Is it possible to somehow replace the white loading screens in the NDSi with the black ones? So that each time we open a console or open the game or reset the game we can just enjoying black screen during the transitions? I would be sooo happy if that was possible.
For the very same reason, I am not a big fan of chalk-white dialogue boxes in NDS games. They actually made me quit playing Syberia on NDS, but I know that it's rather impossible to do anything about them.
I support your request, it's also irritating for my eyes and you end up being quite exposed to it. In this case, the issue is created on TWLM++'s repo but also applies to nds-bootstrap.
No matter what colour. It should convey the message that the software is busy and not that the user thinks it has crashed. I would have doubts about black.
eku pretty sure anybody would know if it crashed if it just didn't load the game for a bit, or just have loading text like every console every made has had
