Select+R doesn't work to bring up the menu

So I installed gpsp on my pi Zw. Anyway, Select+R doesn't work and I can't bring up the menu to edit the controls to have a & b work with a & b as well as the raspberry pi menu to come up with the button command/shortcut. Can I please get some help.

How is your keyboard atteched to raspberry ?

I don't have a keyboard sadly. I have Gameboy zeros and I installed them to have another gba emulator on them and it's the same thing on all of them.

Gpsp works with keyboard and joystick on linux via sdl library. Have you got a circuit schema for yours "gameboy" ?

Don't know. I have a mintypi v3 and kite circuit sword. I guess I could see if I could connect my switch pro controller to see if it would work to sync up to it and see if that works to bring up the menu
