FYI - Apps Factory developed the original version on Feed the Monster as part of Norad's EduApps4Syria initiative. Curious Learning is the custodian of the code-base and localization efforts.

Feed the Monster was approved in the first round as an exception. This was also discussed the first time Feed the Monster was vetted as a DPG, at that point the standard was still very much under development and Feed the Monster was approved. As the standard is defined today, it is not within the standard to use Unity.

But, this problem will be “fixed” for FTM when it is re-implemented as H5P, where the entire platform is open source. I shall share updates once this is resolved from their end.
