how did you do the clean install? the settings file is often not removed and so you might have something in there still
it should be in: C:\Users[YourUsername].config/goose if you remove that directory and then install, it should clear up I would hope /cc @Kvadratni
is there anyway you can set a breakpoint there using the developer tools and then see what url it is trying to access?
