Allow Users to Subscribe to a Blog

If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it....does it make a sound?

What if someone writes a blog article, but no one comes to the site to read it....did it get written? :)

I think it would be great to allow users to subscribe to your blog, so they get emailed when a new post is published.
