Libcrypto is being used but not linked against

Several libcrypto symbols being used and not found properly. The current ${OPENSSL_SSL_LIBRARY} will only link with ssl. (As mentioned here)

This lack of linking was giving warnings when packaging for Debian, it'll become a patch there.
