I added the following to the code and it has fixed it until an update is pushed.

    background: #1f1f1f;
}

I built https://userstyles.org/styles/240682/instagram-redesigned-dark-mode for those looking for a temporary alternative. Looks like Instagram is building their own dark mode. My userstyle turns it on.

Thanks for providing a temporary fix and yes, Instagram is currently working on their own dark mode. Thats the main reason why I haven't been working on Dark Instagram and other styles.
