although not suggested at my initial post... if not using `apt://` but "creating" an own `choco://` protocol, supporting chocolaty parameters as discussed at https://github.com/bcurran3/ChocolateyPackages/issues/138 would make sense.
although i can't reproduce it, this seems kind of related to #1080.
nothing has changed... especially as there was not even a new release of the android app since then. 😒

perhaps to not get everyone to ask for a XYZ-only version, it might be reasonable instead to have a FOSS-only version with no closed source libs... hence it would still...
