fix/loyaltycascade is not fixing a loyalty cascade

Open TV4Fun opened this issue 6 years ago • 4 comments

I had an outbreak of werelizardism in my fortress, and someone must've attacked a citizen after he reverted back to being a dwarf, as there now seems to be a loyalty cascade underway. At the very least, half of the fortress is being continually interrupted by seeing the other half, but there doesn't seem to be any fighting taking place. I'm having a hard time telling who is on which side as there doesn't seem to be any relevant information on the character screen. I tried using the fix/loyaltycascade script, but that is just saying "no loyalty cascade found." Save is at http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=14181. Running Windows 10 64 bit, DFHack 0.44.12-r2.

Is it happening constantly or in bursts once a month?

The werelizarding is happening in once a month bursts, the job cancellations are happening constantly.

I'm also having this issue, this time with a loyalty cascade triggered after a citizen's tantrum. Here's the save: https://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=16038

The fix/loyalty-cascade script was entirely re-written.

As far as I understand it's not a permanent fix, so what @TV4Fun was experiencing is "expected". If the conditions for a loyalty-cascade are present it can repeat over and over, the script is there to try and put it back into place whenever you as the player detect it.

I'm not even sure if the loyalty-cascade issue is still in 0.50.xx, it has not been reported yet AFAIK.
