Regression: php.problems.exclude stopped working

Open tanzanite777 opened this issue 8 months ago • 2 comments

Type: Bug

I used this option to suppress the fundamentally always invalid issue "Constant from class '...' referenced through child. PHP6606" via user level settings - but it stopped to work.

Settings syntax highlighting indicates that the setting is still recognized, just does not work anymore.

{
    "php.problems.exclude": {
        "/": [ 6606 ],
    },
}

While i would like the invalid issue to be removed - fixing suppression takes precedence.

Thank you for reporting this; will be fixed, workaround for now is to use a VSCode-compliant glob pattern:

{
    "php.problems.exclude": {
        "**/*": [ 6606 ],
    },
}

Thanks for the workaround!
