Re-appearing on the taskbar

Open doop1971 opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

After closing to tray the whatsapp app reappears on the taskbar as soon as any other app is activated

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to whatsap desktop app
  2. Click on close button
  3. The whatsapp desktop app then minimizes to the system tray
  4. Start (for example) microsoft edge (or any other programm)
  5. The whatsapp icon reappears on the taskbar

As long as I do not click on the whatsapp icon in the tray I expect the app not to appear on the taskbar

**Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 11

I can not reproduce that on Windows 10. Is this still the case even after a Windows restart? Can you please provide the log-file?
