Cannot get out of fullscreen on macOS

After hitting the green fullscreen button, moving the mouse to the top does not reveal the titlebar, and there is no way to get out of fullscreen.

I managed to find a workaround: bring up exposé (or whatever it's called now) and drag the tpscube window to the main screen.
