No document lists the tools or dependencies in any document or config file. Trace the tools and dependencies needed for development here:

pre-commit
gtest
doxygen
ctest

For the boost library. I think we only use a small part of it. Can we list the necessary part. And maybe we can only include these parts in the build process.

I did some digging before but it turned out it involves a lot of files and it is not easy.
