CycloneDX 2.0 - Migrate from JSON Schema Draft 7 to Draft 2020-12

CycloneDX should adopt the latest version of the JSON Schema specification - at the time of writing, that is 2020-12. There is widespread use and adoption of 2020-12 and has been deemed as safe to migrate with little impact.

Some modification to the schema may be necessary in order to migrate.
