0.1.5.1 Server: Intended? Hammer mill will not output if no inventory available

The product from the hammer mill is kept inside it (can it fill up?) if there is no inventory to which to output (eg a hopper or a chest). If you put a hopper/chest under it after, the retained blocks are then output. Is this intended behavior? Just wondering since the table sieve spits products all over if there isn't an output inventory. ;)

It originally did spit things out but we wanted it to be a smarter block and have a hatch under it for inventories. The sieve was supposed to undergo a model change to show an open bottom which would indicate it's free-falling output.

Perhaps allow shift clicking with a hammer or something to dump the items if there is no inventory below?
