I am wanting to make a launcher for my gdps which auto updates if it detects an update from my website. I know that this is possible, i just dont know how to do it.

You could also learn how to use JavaFX. That's what I'm doing, and it has been working for me so far. You will have to learn basics of Java if you don't know it yet, though.

Simple enough, learn to code a launcher by yourself. I hope you are not using Construct 2 to make a launcher like someone else I know did...
