Add Password Reset Portal, or Add Branding Option for Link for Password Reset

Feature Request

Password Reset Portal replacing Forgot Password link on WebUI - currently links to Github, which is fine for self-hosting, but not for an enterprise setup.
Allow for link for Password Reset on login to ADS or Instance to link to a password reset portal for AMP, or link to any URL that a user specifies.

[x] that I have searched for an existing feature request matching the description.

Reopen please and revisit or provide documentation on password reset strategy that doesn't involve a link going to Github

There is no password reset portal either on the instance login area, just a link to github (that has now been moved to Discourse)

Would also require the WHMCS email field issue to be fixed in addition

Why does this need reopening? There's a branding setting called "Forgot Password URL" which lets you change the URL that link points to.

Because there is no in-WebUI way for a user to reset their own password, other than to use the WHMCS button that does that.

Little fiddly since it requires that SMTP has been configured correctly ahead of time.

Realistically, the users who would be implementing a password reset portal would have SMTP working.
