- [x] that I have searched for an existing bug report for this issue.
- [x] that I am using the latest available version of AMP.
- [x] that my operating system is up-to-date.
- [x] that my checkboxes above look exactly like the one on the left with no extra spaces. Remove this line to confirm you can follow instructions - if this line shows up in the bug report then the whole report will be ignored
Symptoms
- What are you trying to do? Im starting a CS:GO server. After about 15min I cant use the console in amp and if I try to stop or restart the server nothing happens.
- What are you expecting to happen? It should restart normally
- What is actually happening? ('Nothing' is not an acceptable answer!)
Reproduction
Start Server. Wait a moment and try to restart
Did you install the 32 bit libraries when you installed AMP? Could you dump a copy of your /root/ampsummary.log file?
Also have you tried out Diagnostics mode? https://github.com/CubeCoders/AMP/wiki/Diagnosing-AMP-issues
This sounds like user error, my guess would be something in your config files changes the RCON password which stops AMP from being able to talk to the server.
rcon is working for the first 15min and after that it stops. this is happening for all my server with source rcon system and It was working before the last update I will chekc the other two things and send a dump of the logs ^^
Libaries are nearly all isntalled :sudo apt install lib32gcc1 lib32stdc++6 lib32tinfo5. The only missing one is lib32tinfo5 because the system cant find a package with this name
And I cant find this log file: /root/ampsummary.log, but I have a file called getamp.log
Is AMP connected to the RCON? No RCON connection means AMP can't stop the server.
This issue is not reproducible and may have been fixed already. If it's still an issue it can be reopened. Please let us know.
