Trying generating a new "remote admin password" in AMP and restarting the server. This will make it shorter, and get around the character limit in the Palworld chat box.

ok that fixed the admin commands issue how do i fix the save progress issue

So now you should be able to run /save in the amp console

But with a normal stop of the server, does the save file not get updated, and Palworld create a backup?

i tried that and progress isn't saved

Tried what exactly?

Greelan avatar Aug 05 '25 23:08 Greelan

save in console

Does /info return anything?

Greelan avatar Aug 05 '25 23:08 Greelan

yes and the save does say it Complete save but it's not saving any progress

Then that's a Palworld issue, not much AMP can do about that if the server's own commands are behaving properly

Greelan avatar Aug 05 '25 23:08 Greelan

well it does not do that when im not using amp

JagerPup avatar Aug 05 '25 23:08 JagerPup

Don't use AMP then xD

Could be that file perms in the AMP datastore are broken and so saves can't be written properly. AMP doesn't run servers as your normal Windows user and so if you messed with the datastore outside AMP then that would mess it up
