Mainline
I confirm that
- [x] I have searched for an existing bug report for this issue.
- [x] I am using the latest available version of AMP.
- [x] my operating system is up-to-date.
Intended Action
View player list, go to the console and see who is connected
Expected Behaviour
Show 0 players (as no one is playing) with no names in the console tab or anywhere else.
Actual Behaviour
Sometimes (mostly) shows 1/20 with a name of a player that is not playing on the player list in console. (Proven by the fact that I execute /list and it says there are 0/20 players online AND that same friend went to sleep)
Reproduction
When installing AMP you set up the forge server using some tutorials and play with your friends. It sometimes shows a random player connected. (I looked into it and I have NO IDEA why this is happening and how I can reproduce it, the whole panel is sometimes kinda broken).
Fairly common due to bots trying to join whitelisted servers or mods that change the join/quit messages. Restarting the MC server should clear it out, and if not you can stop/start it from the main panel. Just a visual thing though, nothing to actually worry about.
The mainpage has a refresh button, i've found that it will clear out non-existing users and also show users who aren't currently showing up in the user list.
Good point yeah, the list has a bug where it doesn't update in real time, which might toss some of the random names to the curb if AMP did manage to catch the disconnect message
